Cape Coral Burrowing Owls

It wouldn’t be a trip to the Fort Meyers area without stopping to see the Burrowing Owls in Cape Coral. At only the size of a and of soda, these little owls are about as cute as can be, and so expressive!

This little guy was taking a nap. He’s trying to make it look like he’s not really watching me

These 2 Burrowing Owls have their burrow right next to a baseball field where cars park all around them. The area is marked off and all of the locals know to keep away from them.
