Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive

This morning we took our bikes to Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. It’s great going here during the week because it’s not crowded, in fact, there’s hardly anyone except the workers. No cars are allowed during the week so it’s a relaxing time with nature…

Riding a bike through LAWD is a great experience. You can really enjoy being outside in nature and cover the entire drive easily. Plus when it’s about to rain (like it did today) you can make it back to the car without getting too wet. Seeing a Peregrine Falcon tear up a Gallinule for breakfast was pretty cool too!
